About Us

Started as a hobby in 2001 in Karratha as just gate crashing our mates place with our PC’s and going hard in Games all weekend. When the lounge got to small, we started to hire a hall and host deathmatches under the name Pilbara Gamers League. The PGL team has since moved on since 2005, but our love for gaming has not.
LAN Sports was established in late 2008 as a hobby project in Albany, Western Australia. We have hosted several small lans since mid 2009.
The project is completely not-for-profit organization to offer premium service to all gamers. LAN Sports relies on support from volunteers and sponsorship along with the Gaming Community. Any income helps venue hire and equipment.
